There’s exciting times ahead as our Managing Director, Matt Prince, and our Finance Director, James Vincent, have successfully bought the business as equal shareholders. Foremost Security had initially been owned by Managing Director Paul Ritchie, since 2010.
As many people across the Midlands will know, Foremost Security has been the pride and joy of its founder, Paul Ritchie. In the last 12 years, the company has gone from strength to strength – building many positive relationships along the way, and he will remain a constant ambassador of Foremost. He will also be on hand to advise where needed.
We offer various security services, including, but not limited to Lock & Unlock Services, Vacant Property Inspections, Mobile Patrols, Alarm Response & Keyholding. Contributing to the effort of building the business to what it is today, Matt and James have secured a string of successes, which have allowed a strong start to their year as owners – including securing further work from their existing partnerships and winning business from new clients. Customer numbers and contract commitments across all of their services have shown a sharp increase: –
• Keyholding & Alarm response clients now at 1620
• Guarding hours up from 3800 per week to 4050 per week
• Completed lock & unlock from 1156 to 2708 per month
• Vacant property inspections up from 19 per month to a 100 per month
• Response time of 23 minutes
Alongside this, we have also moved to new premises and expanded our number of staff to 130. Now more than ever, it will be important to maintain progress and ensure we share the same vision to develop the company further.
With no dramatic change due to their buyout, Matt and James are keen to continue their focus on the quality of services and have teased that the company “have some plans for the future which we feel will benefit both our customers and staff”. Watch this space!
