Security services for multi-tenancy properties
Landlords of multi-tenancy properties use security services because it can be onerous to service the buildings and tenants without professional support.
The range of situations needing an on-site response include:
- managing 'Welfare Response' situations such as complaints of anti-social or noisy neighbours
- letting tenants into their accommodation when they have mislaid their keys
- responding to, investigating and addressing any issues arising from alarm activations - both intruder and fire
Covering these issues can leave the landlord and the usually small in-house teams struggling to cope unsupported.

Residential buildings
Residential accommodation blocks are often managed according to a 'three-strike rule' or something similar. In these cases the tenant is allowed a pre-set number of transgressions within a timeframe before some sanction is taken against them.
By using a security service to undertake the response to whatever situations arise the landlord keeps a distance from the direct problem. Using the reports provided by the security personnel the landlord can then address the tenant with much of the heat of the situation removed.
Office buildings
Landlords of multi-tenant office buildings often use Foremost for keyholding / alarm responses, and sometimes lock & unlock services, for the communal areas of the premises.
